Covenant Bible Study
COVENANT is an in-depth group Bible study in which people read and discuss the Bible together, learning how to love God—and each other—better. Covenant represents a relationship—a living, breathing conversation. And we invite you to join in it. The Study is divided into 8-week chunks.
Participants will read scripture, view video episodes with leading scholars, and discover that the Bible’s grace-filled stories give us hope that God will make beautiful things out of the fragments and dust of our lives.
Tuesday evenings: beginning 9/29, 6:30pm

We understand the congregation to be part of the body of Christ, the people of God. We come together for worship, learning, and service, but we also support each other down all of life’s roads. This includes caring ministries such as pastoral care, baby bibs for new parents, prayer shawls and bears to comfort those in distress, and loving support through providing meals and transportation to those in need. We care for the community through our Samaritan Fund and the active participation in the Plainfield Ministerial Association, the Plainfield Interfaith Food Pantry, and the Ridgewood United Community Food Pantry, as well as numerous other missional projects.
We seek to create a beloved community in the midst of life’s busy-ness. While carrying out our mission and practicing ministry, we hope to nurture and support each other, love our neighbors, and walk humbly with God.
The Lunch Bunch small group is for people of all ages who like to stretch their mind and their faith in an environment which encourages good discussion, thought-provoking questions, and friendly sharing. Participants are encouraged to bring a lunch to the hour-long sessions. We explore all aspects of faith and life through short-term topical studies, seasonal classes, and inspiring experiential learning opportunities. Come if you are curious, thoughtful, and want to be transformed by the love and knowledge of God.
